Cranes can lift, move, dig and help in many ways.  For those of us that know the crane world, we know that if you have a lot of work to be done, the more cranes you have on site the more work you are going to get done.  This is true for a recent build site in Vienna where there are more than 20 cranes being used to put together a brand new urban development are.

The 20 cranes, which are listed as Liebherr EC-H and EC-B tower cranes can be seen in this epic image and apparently are working non-stop with more than 2,200 construction workers on the site during the peak hours of construction.  When the urban development is complete, it will house a hotel, retail outlets, a conference center, medical center, canteen and a kindergarten.  With more than 24,000 tons of steel to be handled for the project, these cranes will be working non-stop on one of the largest construction projects taking place anywhere in Austria at this time.

According to the construction company spokesperson, the amount of material that was moved in order to start this project was enough to fill about "4 million bathtubs", so you can just imagine the amount of space it will take up when completed.  A project that could not be completed without the help of some nice, big tower cranes.
